Get Growing.

Google Ads is a powerhouse of a platform that, when utilized right, can help you grow your small business beyond the confines of your local town or word-of-mouth. Every day, there are approximately 5.6 billion searches done on Google.

What does this mean for you as a small business owner? By launching Google ads, you can leverage Google’s immense amount of search traffic and consumer data to reach more potential customers, and increase your revenue.

Now how can you actually implement Google ads management as part of your growth strategy? Here are some guidelines that I use, as part of my mission to help small business owners and entrepreneurs get the most out of their ad dollars:

First, what makes a successful advertising campaign?

A successful advertising campaign should meet or exceed the goals you set for the particular budget. If you’re aiming to get 2 dollars back for every dollar spent, your campaign should help you achieve this goal. Successful campaigns are made up of strong ads, conversion-focused website content, and tweaks made from the data analysis process.

Let’s get into more detail!

 Strong ads that get clicks

Google has a variety of different ad structures. The ones many people are familiar with include search ads and shopping ads. Search ads appear just like a normal website you would see when searching, but with the word “Ad” to the top left of the headline. With shopping ads, you’ll see them as an image when searching for items to buy online.

To create strong ads, you need to think from the perspective of your target audience. If you sell apparel, try and think like a consumer and figure out what they would ‘search’ to find your item. By using this approach when creating campaigns and naming your ad headlines, you’ll present your small business as a solution to their needs, and effectively get clicks.
